Brooks also had nothing but rave reviews for RWM’s production of ‘The Sound of Music’ in 2011 when he declared “it was a joy to the eyes and ears”.
To date, RWM has staged five major theater productions starting with ‘KAOS’ in 2010, ‘The Sound of Music’ in 2011, ‘The King & I’ in 2012, ‘Cinderella’ in 2013, and ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’ in 2014. This year, it brings to its award-winning Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) ‘Bituing Walang Ningning: The Musical’—a story originally told over a serialized comic strip by fictionist Nerissa Cabral and later made into a blockbuster movie and was then re-made into a hit television series back in 2006.
