Impressions scoops second consecutive prestigious award

Resorts World Manila’s (RWM) French fine dining restaurant Impressions bagged the prestigious Beefsteak & Burgundy Award for the second consecutive year under the tutelage of its executive chef, Maîtres Cuisiniers de France inductee Cyrille Soenen.
Impressions was voted by members of Beefsteak and Burgundy, who have enjoyed friendships and appreciated good food and wine since the inception of Beefsteak and Burgundy nearly 60 years ago.
The Club, also known as The Foundation Club, was established in 1954 as the first Beefsteak and Burgundy Club. Today, Beefsteak and Burgundy has grown in Australia and overseas to assist members who may be travelling, which has led to the formation of Branch Clubs within Australia and overseas, including the Philippines.
On April 10, Impressions hosted an exclusive lunch for members of Beefsteak and Burgundy prior to being presented with the 2014 Award for Best Restaurant.
“This award is affirmation of our commitment to serve the finest French cuisine in Manila that is at par with the world’s best restaurants,” said RWM Chief Hotel Operations Officer Scott Sibley. “We have an incredibly talented kitchen team under the masterful guidance of no less than a Maîtres Cuisiniers de France awardee who takes great pleasure in thrilling the taste buds of everyone who dines here.”
