Newport World Resorts’ signature fine dining restaurant presents a culinary love affair of Eastern and Western cuisine with La Serenata, Casa Buenas’ anticipated Valentine’s celebration. On the 14th and 15th of February, experience love in every dish of the 7-course dinner, curated and prepared by Newport World Resorts culinary maestros.

This year, Casa Buenas welcomes all kinds of love to an exciting gastronomic journey. The night starts off with a gentle romance in a delectable assortment of Star Bread, Multigrain Bread, Lavosh, and Baguette with dollops of sweet ube and tomato butter. Savor freshwater prawns with cauliflower and a warm shrimp-tomato gazpacho. Delicately charred San Pablo Eggplant Salad follows, charming the appetite with a trifecta of fresh tuna in spicy cream and ikura, Chorizo Croquetas with crispy charcuterie, and Seared Citrus Salmon with yuzu marmalade.

Afterwards, tuck into the warm embrace of a light broth suffused with mushrooms, marinated mussels, and foie gras then feel the buttery touch of decadent black cod, roasted and paired with black garlic aioli and chorizo patatas bravas.

At the heart of La Serenata is Casa Buenas’ take on Beef Wellington. The tender meat, wrapped in mushrooms and golden puff crust, is baked to golden perfection that leaves a lasting impression on the palate. Indulge in the dish’s sweet and savory layers alongside truffle potato puree and Fundador peppercorn sauce, topped with caviar.

Down the line is a love so simple yet complex with the cherry red Eight Texture Macaron. Rich Davao chocolate, tart raspberries, and the crunch of double chocolate, garnished in gold flakes, heighten the delicate French pastry into a sensational experience - from crisp to creamy, delicate to velvety, butterflies to bliss.

Finally, the sweet conclusion to La Serenata comes in a row of liquor-infused confectionaries. Taste indulgence from gold caramel chocolate charged with Emperador brandy and an intense bite of cacao spiced with vodka and tabasco to bittersweet surprises in between, wrapping up this adventurous love in high spirits.
